The Zero Crop Damage is the latest Stara launching. It has been gaining the trust of Brazilian and Paraguayan farmers. One of them is André Cavedon, São João Farm owner, who shares the ownership with his father Avanir Cavedon in the town of Júlio de Castilhos.

André approved the exclusive Stara technology that he used on Princesa planter. “Stara planting pieces of equipment are one of the best in Brazil because it provides financial results in the crop field. The Zero Crop Damage, for example, delivers planting process costs reduction, and it creates positive results. Additionally, there are seed savings since we don’t place it where there will be crop damage. This is economy, high-level planting”, he says.

He also highlights the planting quality and economic gain: “Today, the planting is perfect with uniform seed distribution, excellent plantability, technology that delivers and optimizes the agricultural supplies and provides higher savings.

The Zero Crop Damage performs planting with the automatic row-by-row shut-off of seeds where the sprayer and spreader will further pass over. The technology provides seed savings of up to 4% for the farmer. It depends on the size of the self-propelled machine booms and the width of the tires.
