Among the pillars that support the constant evolution goal of Stara, it’s the excellence in manufacturing smart solutions for agribusiness. After all, observing the segment trends, understanding the farmer needs and following the field yield increase, the brand boosts technologies, and innovations.
Eco Spray is proof: it’s a spot spraying technology integrated to Stara Imperador 3000 and 4000 that stood out in the company stand in the 37th edition of Show Rural Coopavel. The agricultural show was held in the city of Cascavel in the state of Paraná, from February 10th to 14th. The trade fair focused was technology innovation and sustainability.
Check below, further information about the Eco Spray and other Stara products that stood out in the show.
Imperador 3000 and 4000 Eco Spray
It’s the result of a partnership between Stara and ONE Smart Spray - a joint venture between Bosch and BASF. The Eco Spray technology was incorporated to Stara Imperador 3000 and 4000. Thus, in addition to the remarkable features of the traditional machine version, it is equipped with the spot spraying system, which applies the chemical product selectively, only where there are weeds.
Such assertiveness is possible thanks to the high-resolution sensors and cameras fastened to the front wing of the sprayer booms, which read the soil, detecting and processing the images in real time. When identifying weeds, the artificial intelligence system sends a command to open the spray nozzles individually, activating the jet only on the desired plant and turning it off afterwards.
The main advantage of the technology is product saving, which could reach 95 %. In addition, providing higher efficient applications as it applies the weed control directly to the target and minimizes environmental impacts, cooperating with the microbiology preservation of the soil and to grow healthier plants.
Planting Line Highlights
Due to the versatility, robustness and the high technology level of the planters and seeders, Stara ensures the best planting in Brazil to the farmer. One of the greatest highlights in the line, for example, is Estrela planter, acknowledged as the most comprehensive planter in the market as it provides the Stara Integrated Terrain Copy, transport agility, and the in-furrow spraying factory-installed.
Estrela also features two fertilizer sections and only seven lubrication points, which ensures no maintenance while planting. Additionally, it has higher cutting power capacity and better straw flow. The planter is equipped with the exclusive Row-by-Row Shut-Off System, that automatically shuts off the planting row units at the exact place where the operation has already been done.
Equally important, Eva planter stood out too: it integrates precision, efficiency, and technology. Available in 7 to 11 row units, the implement delivers excellent planting quality of corn, soybeans, millet, cotton, and sorghum. It is resistant and easy to perform maintenance. It features a rigid chassis, hoppers by gravity for seeds and fertilizers, in addition to two control versions by means of smarthphone and Topper 5500.
In addition to the mentioned machines, the event visitors could see the resources of the Cinderela and Princesa planters, and Guapa and Guapita seeders.
Spreading Line Highlights
With the option to work at a fixed rate and at a variable rate, the Stara spreaders deliver higher efficient operations and boost production yield. For this reason, the brand is a leader in the Brazilian market segment.
As a reference in its category, the Hércules 6.0 self-propelled spreader gathers tradition of the Stara products and excellent application quality and metering precision. Equipped with the Smart 4-Wheel-Steering System, twin feedgate with product flow divider and other remarkable features, the machine delivers high operating yield and optimizes the crop results.
Additionally, during the Coopavel Rural Show, the farmers could see the Bruttus 18000 spreader by gravity, which stands out due to its application uniformity and precise application of substances for soil regulation and granulated fertilizers. After all, spreading by gravity minimizes the wind action and allows particles to be placed directly on the soil, preventing drift.
In addition, the Hércules 10000 Inox trailed spreader and Twister 1500 hydraulic spreader were highlights in the trade fair.
Spraying Line Highlights
The Stara Sprayer Line takes its DNA in innovation and constant evolution in evidence. Featuring high technology and efficiency, the machines are engineered to help the farmer to boost the crop potential. In addition to see the advantages of Imperador 3000 and 4000 Eco Spray, as mentioned already, the visitors who stopped by at the Stara stand saw the remarkable features of other machines of the line, including Imperador 3.0, Imperador 2000 PV, and Imperador 2500.
With specific features, the sprayers meet different needs and goals the farmer has. Despite of the specifications of each one, they have technologies and functions in common that ensure an excellent application precision such as the central spray booms. Imperador 3.0 is the only self-propelled machine in the world that gathers a sprayer, a spreader, and a pneumatic seeder.
