Always innovating and investing in technology, Stara launches another exclusive novelty: Syncro for spraying. Syncro is already available on the spreader and planter lineup. It is now possible for up to four sprayers to share information and operations with synchronization in the same field. Higher yield and profitability for the farmer, with precision, efficiency, and agility at all times.
Stara’s CEO, Attila Stapelbroek Trennepohl, points out that Syncro for spraying delivers easiness, convenience and increases the efficiency of operations: “It optimizes the machines, which results in better applications and higher yields and cost savings.”
Syncro information is exchanged via Topper 5500 and a radio connected to the machines, without the need for an Internet connection. Stara’s Electronic Engineering Manager, Rafael Costa, explains that the system is quite simple to operate: “The Topper of one machine will connect with the Topper of the other machines in the radio range region. Regardless of the area size, Syncro synchronizes the machines over a distance of up to 1.5 km.”
The farmer Douglas Grando, one of the owners of Fazenda Três Palmeiras, in Três Palmeiras/RS, used Syncro for spraying with his Imperator 3.0 and Imperator 4000. “At first, I didn’t think it would provide as many advantages to our farm as it did. We think Syncro is very positive for several reasons, such as fuel economy and the convenience of refueling. For sure, Syncro has added a lot to our farm,” says Douglas.
Syncro for spraying provides better operation planning, optimizing the traffic of the self-propelled machines in the same field and avoiding re-entries in AB lines. When using the Nozzle-by-Nozzle Control System, it shuts off the spray nozzle in areas where the chemical has already been applied, preventing overlap and reducing product waste, besides boosting nighttime applications.
