Throughout the cycle, plants are susceptible to various pests, diseases, and weeds. When tall plant crops are at the first stage, the product application is easily performed. However, at the final stages, applications can be tricky due to the plant height. In order to make this process easier, Stara has engineered the Up & Down – Hydraulic Lift System.

This technology allows the machine to increase its ground clearance to 40 centimeters. This system is activated by Topper 5500. Therefore, the machine is able to enter the crop field at late crop stages. For spraying operations, among the benefits are the control of pests, diseases, and weeds, ensuring the health and, consequently, the increase in productivity, since the plants will be properly protected and there will be a reduction in losses.

For spreading operations by using Imperador 3.0, it is possible to perform a split and late nitrogen application in corn plants. Stara’s research, carried out with growers, shows that the nitrogen instalment in different stages along the corn cycle delivers an average yield increase of 4.5 sack/ha.

The Up & Down – Hydraulic Lift System is an optional feature for Imperador 3.0, Imperador 3000 and 4000. The system allows the application height to be increased from 1.43 to 1.83 meters on Imperador 3.0, while on Imperador 3000 and 4000, the application height increases from 1.6 to 2 meters.

One more Stara technology that increases the productivity of your crops.
