June 24th was a special day to the Family Stara, because the company opened its doors to welcome the employees and their Family to the Family Day. Around 300 people participated of the visit that started by the 9am with the presentation of the company’s history and the presence of the director-president Gilson Trennepohl.
At another moment, the guests could see the industrial park of the Stara, using the same path that the steel plates make until it transform into agricultural machinery.
“The day of the visit at Stara gave us good moments with the Family and brought us knowledge about the history and the trajectory of the company that we did not know, showing how much was hard the work to be where it is now. It also provide us the feeling of pride of having our son being part of that history, contributing to the pioneering of the company. It was very interesting to see all the processes, step by step, since the steel plate until the conclusion of the machine, verifying the modern products that Stara produce”, said Serli Lemes, mother of Mateus Lemes, from the department of I.T. “It was a great opportunity to bring my family to see the company. Many times we try to explain our place of work, the growth and the company’s structure, specially about the last years. We spend more time in our job than with our family, and enclosing these two environments was a great experience”, said the employee.
Employees from different departments of the company were the responsible to welcome the colleagues and visitors, as well by showing the company to them. Leandro Roberto Salvadori, employee of the Assembly department, was one of the leaders. “It was the first time that I participated as a leader and it was wonderful. We can show to the families and even to the employees the essence of the production of agricultural machinery. It was a very grateful opportunity and an honor to guide them through the facilities of the company and see the reaction of the employees that were proud and emotional by showing to their families where they work and the people of their family that were stunned by the size of our company. Everybody was happy by having that special moment”, said the employee.
The Family Day happens annually and has as objective to get closer the families to Stara, valuing the employees of the company.
