Stara believes in transforming power of education. For this reason, last Friday 1st, the company handed over school supply kits to the employees’ children from the headquarter and branches in Não-Me-Toque, Carazinho, and Santa Rosa. About 870 children received school supply kits to start the new school year.
This kit costs around R$ 180 on the market. It comes with a backpack, a notebook, a ruler, a pencil case, a pencil, an eraser, a pencil sharpener, a pen, glue, scissors, and color pencils. The school supply kits were given to employees’ children from 6 to 14 years old.
The CEO from Stara, Átila Stapelbroek Trennepohl, highlights the importance of this action. “We thought of the school supply kit to help families’ budget since prices have been so high. We hope the kit can work as a learning tool for our employees’ children”, says Átila.
Our employee Gabriel dos Santos Comin, from Assembly Department, is thankful for the company initiative. “It is a great idea. The kit will certainly help a lot. We will save a lot of money to buy school supply. It is an encouragement for kids study harder”, states Gabriel. His six-year-old Erick received the kit too.
The employee Fernanda do Couto Kirst tells that her ten-year-old daughter, Isadora, was anxious to get the kit. “When I told her, I was going to get the kit, she got so excited. I thought it was a great Stara initiative to help us out. The ones who have kids know how high the school supply price can cost”, says Fernanda.
