On August 29th, Stara completed its 57 years of foundation. The trajectory of the company is marked by effort, breakthrough, constant evolution in its products and processes and, overall, by the people who were and are part of this successful trajectory.
The celebrations took place in two moments. The first one was at the company head office in Não-Me-Toque and at its units in Carazinho and Santa Rosa, where the employees had a special lunch. And the second one was during Expointer, with a dinner for clients and dealers of Stara.
“Stara was born as a repair shop to support the family in 1960. Not even in their best dreams the founders imagined that we would be here today, on August 29th 2017, with so many dreams to still become true. Today we have more than 2 thousand employees and I thank them very much for being part of Stara family. Indirectly, there may be around 10 thousand people involved with our business”, claimed Gilson Trennepohl, CEO of Stara.
Also in his speech, the CEO talked about the greatness of the company and the importance of the technology produced by Stara. “I have been very happy to see the dream of Stara become true. One of the dreams I lived was to develop a network of dealers that today is one of the largest in the country. Another dream was to see our machines working in other countries. Today we are in 35 countries, seeing our machines working in the fields overseas. We have dreamed of technology and today Stara is the greatest technology generator for the Brazilian agribusiness. This is all very important for us and a reason to be proud”, says the CEO, leaving a message of gratitude to all employees, dealers, suppliers and clients.
To end the celebrations, a great Gaucho rib barbecue was served at the stand of Stara in Expointer.
