Stara celebrated another positive year by sharing profits with its employees. On Wednesday 2nd, 2022, during the collective meeting, the Stara CEO, Átila Stapelbroek Trennepohl, announced the positive numbers of the Profit Sharing (PLR) from 2021.
Átila congratulated the employees on the result. “We achieved the result together. We have conquered plenty of space in the market share, and consequently, we are providing better customer service”.
In 2021, many benefits were provided to the employees, among them food parcels, school supply kits for the employees’ children, Labor Day gifts, and at the end of the year, the employees were given an extra R$ 500,00 in the meal card. In total, the shared value was over R$ 35 million. The second instalment of the profit-sharing payment will be deposited next Friday, February 4th. The first instalment was paid in July 2021.
Another good news was the announcement of the advance of 6% of the annual agreement for February 2022.
Átila also said that in 2021, Stara helped charity entities with more than R$ 3.31 million. Additionally, more than 40 tons of food were donated by the employees, and Stara tripled the kilo of food for each kilo of food given by the employees.
Currently, the company has more than 3,600 employees in its four branches: Não-Me-Toque (headquarters), Carazinho and Santa Rosa and in Argentina.
