Imperador 3.0 conquered the Prêmio Gerdau Melhores da Terra 2016, in the category Expointer Novelty, division Agriculture of Scale. The director-president form Stara, Gilson Trennepohl, received the trophy in the morning of August 31, in solemnity performed in the Usina Riograndense, in Sapucaia do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul.

The Prêmio Gerdau Melhores da Terra grant the initiatives in agricultural machinery of the Latin America that seek to encourage the sustainable development, the invocation and the excellency in the agribusiness. “The Prêmio Gerdau Melhores da Terra grant what have of better in the sector of agricultural machinery and implements, encouraging the innovation, the excellency and the productivity in farms”, said the vice-president executive from Gerdau, Guilherme Gerdau Johannpeter. According to the coordinator of the judge commission, Renato Levi, the initiatives in precision farming were the highlights from this edition. “This initiative contributes to the improvement of the working conditions and in the quality of operation in farms. Brazil, actually, is among the nations with better technologies, what can be noticed by the quality of the products from Brazilian manufactures subscribed in the award”, he explained.

The category Expointer Novelty grant products released before one year and presented during the Expointer. The Imperador 3.0, released by Stara on February 2016, was the winner of this category in the division Agriculture of Scale. With own technology, Imperador 3.0 is an innovative self-propelled that gathers a central booms sprayer and a spreader, able to perform two operations in a single machine in different moments. So much innovation brings to the farmer more efficiency in the works of its farm, besides decreasing the operational costs. The Imperador 3.0 allows the subdivision of applications of fertilizers and defensives, all that with the maintenance of the same trail, ensuring agility, speed and efficiency in the applications.
