Providing opportunities and constant evolution are part of Stara. As noted in the saga of the employee Evandro Davi Bassano. He started working at the company in 2012 as an intern in Quality Control, and today, he’s the coordinator.
Evandro has done his internship for six months at the company’s headquarters in Não-Me-Toque/RS. Soon, he was on the full-time payroll of the company and was invited to work in the branch in Carazinho/RS, as a Quality Inspector. Due to this opportunity, Evandro managed to develop his skills in the department, from Quality Control Inspector I, II and III, to Quality Control Analyst, and has been a coordinator for three years.
Currently, he is in charge of all matters that concern the Quality Management System, such as ISO 9001, documentation, and factory indicators, among others.
He is a Mechanical Technician and Mechanical Production Engineer. Evandro is the son of farmers and has agriculture “in his DNA”, he mentions. He’s proud to work with his two passions: Mechanical Engineering and agriculture. “I majored in Mechanical Production Engineering because there are two things I like: mechanics and agriculture. Working at Stara is a mix of both. So, today, it is a vision from my childhood, my relationship with agriculture, and I can see I’m cooperating in Stara’s mission to develop pieces of equipment for the farmer. As my family are farmers, we are aware of the importance to reduce production costs and the machinery to work properly. So, for me, it is rewarding.”
Evandro also points out the constant company growth all over these 10 years. “The growth is visible. For those who saw the company 10 years ago and now. It is another reality, another structure, and another number of employees. The growth is huge. The company invest and is in the right market. It has everything to grow even more.”
For him, Stara is one of the best companies in the area: “I talk a lot to the team. It is unanimous. Stara is the best in the area, especially because it is concerned about its employees”, he says.
