On January 25th and 26th Stara gathered dealers for its 9th Convention. On Thursday evening, the plaques were given to the dealers classified as Bronze, Silver and Gold. On Friday, an extensive program ended with two releases: the new models of Absoluta and the Consortium Stara.
In 2010 Stara released its dealer network that go through processes of annual audit, aiming the improvement of the processes and the service to the farmer. In 2017, 11 dealers were recognized as Bronze, 32 dealers were Silver and 9 dealers achieved the Gold distinction. Dealers EloForte, from Unaí, Minas Gerais, 3A Máquinas, from Dourados, Mato Grosso do Sul, MaqForte, from Pato Branco, Paraná, Menegazzo, from Três Palmeiras, Rio Grande do Sul, Ikona, from Passo Fundo, Rio Grande do Sul, and Agricenter, from Seberi, also in Rio Grande do Sul, achieved, for the first time, the Gold classification. Dealers Agritama, from Sorriso, Mato Grosso, and Plantiagro, from Carazinho, Rio Grande do Sul, received the Gold classification for the second time. And dealer Agriterra, from Lucas do Rio Verde, Mato Grosso, is a Gold dealer for the fourth time in a row.
“We are very happy to receive the Gold classification for the fourth time. Every year we have a new challenge and this is our boost to try and be always better, to do something different. Our team understands this and is responsible for this achievement. We are really proud of the people who are with us in this journey and our work goes on with a lot of dedication to keep reaping the benefits”, claims Márcio Trentin, director of Agriterra.
On Friday, the activities began with a presentation by the CEO of Stara, Gilson Trennepohl, and the vice-president, Átila Stapelbroek Trennepohl, who provided an overview of Stara about investments, production, development of new products, as well as what the company has been doing to develop and provide greater welfare to the employees, as well as to the community it is in.
Still in the morning, consultant Clóvis Lumertz, of Allcon, gave a lecture with the topic “Excellence in Market Execution”, followed by the economist of Bradesco, Regina Helena Couto Silva, who brought the perspectives and the economic scenario for 2018.
After the visit to the factory, the commercial director Márcio Fülber showed the perspectives of Stara for the year. The afternoon also had 3 great moments. The first one was the release of other 3 models of the planter Absoluta, bringing to a higher number of farmers the best planting technologies, such as the row by row shutoff system, end-to-end precise planting, better straw cutting and easy transportation.
The second moment of the afternoon was the release of a new form of buying Stara agricultural machinery: the Consortium Stara. The Consortium Stara is administered by Embracon, a company with 29 years acting in the market of consortiums and, through this modality, the farmer can plan the purchase of Stara agricultural machinery with flexible and easy purchase of the shares.
The third great moment was the talkshow of Gilson and the goalkeeper Jakson Follmann, one of the survivors of the accident with the LaMia airplane that was taking the soccer team Chapecoense to play the finals of Copa Sul-Americana and killed 71 people in 2016. Follmann talked about his career, the accident, how he faced the recovery and the plans for the future, leaving a message of optimism and overcoming to the attendees.
“It is very important for Stara and a reason of satisfaction to gather our dealers and share the dreams of our company, to see how much each one of our representatives has progressed and show the new features that will guide our mutual growth. Once again, the sentence that highlights us is really worthwhile: “none of us is as good as all of us together”! Thank you for your belief in Stara and I wish you all a good 2018”, claimed the CEO at his presentation during the convention.
The closing of the convention was a moment of celebration, when the traditional costelão gaúcho (gaucho-style beef ribs) was served, to the sound of band Stara.
