On April 30th,  Estrela was elected the machine of the year in planting line, granted by the Machine of the Year Award. This award recognizes and celebrates the excellence and innovation of the technology industry of agricultural machines. Also, it highlights assembly line factories and engineering and mechanical projects that have been boosting the market of machines and the production quality in the crop field. The award took place during Agrishow, in the city of Ribeirão Preto, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. 
For the Research & Development Director, Cristiano Buss, receiving this award highlights how strong the Stara brand is when it comes to its products and technologies for planting processes. “This award is recognition from the market for the innovation Estrela carries. Estrela was one of the longest projects of Stara. We faced a bunch of challenges, we needed to overcome to build this machine. And now, this award is seen as a recognition of all the company's effort recognition. Additionally, it is proof of the Stara brand strength in the planting segment. Today, Stara is a reference in technology in the sector and is recognized in the market for its planters.
The Estrela planter has come to shake up planting operations, gathering high performance, and high yields, and is easy to transport. In addition, it is the first planter with an in-furrow spraying system factory-installed.
