Everything you need for Precision Farming in a single device

A great controller is now even better!

The Topper 4500 allows you to innovate and complete all of your precision work on the farm.

It has a color screen with the processing capacity of 3D graphics. This allows real-time 3D visualization of the application map and rate.

The Topper 4500 has protection against the electrical variations of the machine supply including an internal battery which maintains the system while starting the engine.

Widely used and stable software platform guaranteeing greater immunity to viruses.

The system is compatible with prescription maps in Shape file format and generates traceability maps in the same format and also in PDF (Acrobat®).

All software updates, both Topper 4500 and additional POD’s, are possible by USB pen drive. A 4GB pen drive is included.

  • The buttons functions on the screen are organized in a color system to help facilitate their use.
  • Help information is available during operation through a dedicated help button. This also provides a step by step guide on how to proceed when an alarm occurs.
  • The internal DGPS signal is available for use by external equipment.
  • It has a Replay mode, which allows the finished work to be replayed on the screen with the ability to adjust the replay speed.
  • Integrated system of variable rate.
  • Application of a standard rate out of the variable rate map.
  • When operating in fixed rates it allows the increase or decrease of the application rate by +/- 10% amounts.
  • It allows the monitoring of the applied level of the tank.

Compatibilities

Total user management system, allowing creation of users with variable levels of access. Users such as operators have restricted access while complete access is available to the Administrator level users.

It has a modern and reliable system of alarms giving audible and visual indications of:

  • Limit of boundary;
  • Excess speed;
  • Low/high rate;
  • Low/high disk rotation (centrifugal spreading);
  • Low/high pressure, low/high flow, pressure difference between the pressure sensor and pressure calculated by nozzles (spray);
  • Low level of the tank;
  • Loaded level of the harvester;
  • Insufficient space on internal memory and pen drive.
  • Problems with GPS signal;
  • Communicating problems with external devices (PODs, Speed Drive, NO sensor, Electronic Scale)

Functions

  • Virtual route with steering arrows equivalent to a lightbar;
  • Straight, bend, A-B bend and angle modes;
  • Return to a point;
  • Grid;
  • Identify if the machine is operating in reverse gear;
  • Adjust DGPS signal displacement, in four directions when errors occur after long intervals between applications. Together to this displacement, the variable rate, the application and boundary are displaced along the AB lines. The GPS signal may also be moved up to AB line;
  • Allows the creation of boundary by left, center and right. Boundary of application and non-application also may be defined;
  • Allows marking up to 50 points (flags) by field, up to 7 distinct colors; 
  • Allows import and export AB, boundary, fields, work and all configurations;
  • Layout configuration of fixed and trailed machines;

Spreading - Hercules and Bruttus

  • Variable rate system integrated;
  • Apply a standard rate outside the map of variable rate;

  • Easy access to test mode.

Planting

  • Fertilizer and seed (two tank) application;

  • Independent automatic control of each side of the spreader.

The Topper 4500 generates work statistics by total, users, sections and application tank. It also generates application reports in PDF format, containing:

  • Traceability map indicating overlap;
  • Coordinates of the central point of map;
  • Time of use;
  • Time of application;
  • Output in ha/h;
  • Applied area;
  • Done area;
  • Overlap;
  • Total quantity of applied/harvested product by tank;
  • Statistical data of medium, minimum and maximum applied/harvested by tank;
  • Application data by users and sections;
  • Color traceability map, per tank, indicating the applied rates.

It has a complete information system available on the screen:

  • Compass;
  • Correction type and quality of the GPS signal;
  • Traceability map legend;
  • Done, applied, total and remaining hectares;
  • Speed;
  • Applied rate;
  • Information on current slice and work;
  • Pressure and last speed when all sections have been switched off (spray);
  • Rotation of disks (centrifugal spreading);
  • Moist weight, dry weight, average t/ha and moist average of the load, using width of the platform (harvest);
  • Diagnosis screen of main POD parameters;
  • Diagnosis screen of GPS parameters;
  • Color Altitude Map.

Sub soil ploughing

  • Integrated variable depth system;
  • Standard fixed depth used outside the variable depth map;
  • In fixed depth, it allows increase or decrease of depth in +/- 10% movements;
  • Easy access to test mode.

Spraying

  • Automatic switching of sections integrated;
  • It allows the monitoring of the tank level applied;
  • It is possible to choose the type of nozzle to be used allowing the calculation of estimated pressure. Double fan , orange, green, yellow, purple, blue, red, brown and grey nozzles, and three more custom nozzles;
  • It works with calibrated and non-calibrated return in the same equipment;
  • Low speed hold causing closure of the nozzles;
  • External pressure sensor interface;
  • Interface for two wheel speed sensors;
  • Requires optional spray POD*.

Harvest

  • Monitoring of yield and moisture;
